How to Sell a Borderlands 3 Item

You can sell Borderlands 3 items as any other item on Gameflip, but please take the following precautions:

1. Do NOT post your Gamer Tag, PSN, or Epic name publicly in your listing or public listing comments. You can send private messages to the buyer in the Sold Item message section after your item is purchased.
2. If you receive a notification that your listing has sold, always verify it by logging into your Gameflip account and go to Menu > Listings > Sold tab. If someone contacts you saying they bought your item and asked you to deliver, DO NOT give them your item. They were able to contact you because you posted your Gamer Tag or PSN name publicly which you are not supposed to do. If you see "Sale Pending", you should wait at least 5 minutes to confirm that it's actually sold before sending the item.

To avoid any questions, ask the buyer to confirm the first 5 digits/characters of their order number in the game chat.

Steps to Safely Deliver a Borderlands 3 Item

1. You will have to exchange user names in the private message after your item is purchased and coordinate a time when you are both online.
2. Once in the game, approach the buyer
   • Start a video recording showing you and the buyer in the game
3. When prompted, hold down the button associated with trading
4. The other player will need to hold down the confirm button as shown on the right-hand side of the screen
5. The trading menu will come up showing 4 trade slots and a money option
6. Select an empty slot and then choose the item you want to trade
7. When ready to trade, both players must select the trade button at the bottom of the screen
8. After a few seconds, the trade will go through unless a player cancels it

Alternatively, if the buyer is not online or you can't coordinate a time for the trade, you can send the item via in-game mail:

1. Go under the Social Menu in-game where you can see your friends
   • Start a video recording of the process
2. Select the Mail tab
3. Press the button to send mail
4. Choose the item in your inventory and select the buyer in your friend list to send the item

If any issues arise, the buyer will place a hold on the purchase. You will be notified of this status change by email and in-app notification. 

If a dispute happens, follow up or create a support ticket with our supporting staff. Be sure to include your Gameflip profile Code (appears in your profile), the name of the listing, upload the recording to YouTube, and send us the link.
